Which Crypto to Deposit and Withdraw With: Fees, Speed, Networks
Which cryptocurrency to use for casino deposits and withdrawals: where fees are lower, what's faster, why stablecoins help and how not to mix up networks.
You can top up a crypto casino account with a dozen different coins, and your choice affects three things: how much the transfer costs, how fast the money arrives and whether your balance "shrinks" because of the exchange rate. Here's which crypto to pick, how networks differ and which mistakes cost players the most money.
What Coins.Game accepts
Coins.Game supports more than twenty coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, TRON, BNB, XRP, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash. If you don't have any crypto yet, you can buy it with a card right on the site via the Buy Crypto button. We explained how that works in our guide to buying cryptocurrency for gaming.
What the casino's own help center says:
- a deposit is credited once it's confirmed on the blockchain, usually within a few minutes;
- to withdraw, your deposit needs at least 3 confirmations;
- the minimum withdrawal depends on the coin and is usually around $20;
- keep the network fee in mind when withdrawing.
Coin vs network: what's the difference
The key thing for beginners: the same coin can travel over different networks. USDT exists on Ethereum (the ERC-20 standard), on TRON (TRC-20), on BNB Smart Chain and others. It's the same dollar, but transfers on different networks cost and move differently.
Hence rule number one: the network on the sender's side must match the network of the casino's deposit address. Send USDT over one network to an address issued for another, and the money may never arrive.
Popular options compared
| Coin and network | Network fee | Speed | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT / USDC on TRON, BNB Smart Chain and similar networks | low | minutes | stable, 1:1 to the dollar |
| USDT / USDC on Ethereum | higher, depends on network load | minutes | stable |
| Litecoin | low | a block roughly every 2.5 minutes | volatile |
| TRON (TRX) | low | a block roughly every 3 seconds | volatile |
| Bitcoin | low to high, rises when the network is busy | a block every 10 minutes on average | volatile |
| Ethereum (ETH) | depends on network load | a block roughly every 12 seconds | volatile |
Exact fees change daily, so check what your wallet or exchange shows before sending. The big picture stays the same, though: Bitcoin and Ethereum get pricier at peak times, while stablecoins on fast networks and Litecoin almost always cost pennies.
Why stablecoins are handy for playing
Stablecoins like USDT and USDC are pegged to the dollar. For a player that means something simple: deposit $100, and it stays $100 whatever the market does.
Volatile coins are different. You deposit in bitcoin, end up in profit, and while you're withdrawing the price drops 5%, so part of your win simply melts away. It can go the other way too, but turning casino play into a bet on the bitcoin price should be a conscious choice, not an accident. We looked at this in more detail in the risks and benefits of stablecoins in crypto casinos.
Mistakes that cost money
- Wrong network. The most common and most expensive mistake. Double-check the network before sending.
- Forgotten memo tag. Some coins, such as XRP, need an extra tag besides the address. If the casino shows one, you must include it.
- Typing the address by hand. The Coins.Game help center advises copying the address in full and changing nothing. Never type it manually.
- Exchange minimums. If you send from an exchange, it may have its own minimum amount and its own withdrawal fee. Sometimes sending $15 simply won't work or won't be worth it.
- Withdrawing right after depositing. Until your deposit has 3 confirmations, you can't withdraw. That's normal, just wait.
How long it takes
According to the Coins.Game help center, a transaction is usually confirmed in 5–10 minutes. But a lot depends on the network and the fee you paid: on a congested network a transfer can take anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours. If the money is taking too long, look up the transaction hash in a block explorer or contact support.
In short: what to choose
- For most players: USDT or USDC on a low-cost network. Cheap, fast, no price swings.
- If you already hold bitcoin: you can play with it, just keep fees and price moves in mind.
- If you have no crypto: buy it with a card right on the site.
