Coins.Game Sports Bonus: Tiers From $1 to $10,000 and Dead Zones
We break down the Coins.Game weekly sports bonus: 13 turnover tiers, about 2% back and the points where $1 of turnover adds $5 of bonus. Plus a calendar.
A single $1 bet sometimes brings a $5 bonus. It is not a joke and not a typo: the weekly sports bonus on Coins.Game has thresholds where a turnover of $499 and $500 differ by exactly two times in reward. We skipped this promo because it runs every week and looks routine. That was a mistake: read the conditions closely and the stepped scale of the sports bonus turns into a small puzzle. We break it down this week, when there is plenty to watch: NBA opens, the Champions League is on, and on Friday the Swiss stage of Worlds begins.
How the sports bonus works
| What counts | bets on sports and esports |
| Window | from Sunday to Friday |
| How to get it | find the "Weekly Sports Bonus" on the bonuses page and press "Claim" |
| When it is credited | every Saturday |
| How many bonuses | one per week |
| Wagering | none, winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn right away |
| Ceiling | up to $10,000 per week |
The bigger your total turnover in the window, the higher the tier. You have to claim the bonus yourself: according to the description, the "Claim" button sits in the bonuses section. The description does not say whether cancelled bets, live bets and accumulators count, so check that in the promo card.
The ladder of tiers
| Weekly turnover | Bonus | Bonus from the lower limit |
| $100–149 | $1 | 1% |
| $150–249 | $3 | 2% |
| $250–499 | $5 | 2% |
| $500–999 | $10 | 2% |
| $1,000–2,499 | $20 | 2% |
| $2,500–4,999 | $50 | 2% |
| $5,000–9,999 | $100 | 2% |
| $10,000–24,999 | $200 | 2% |
| $25,000–49,999 | $500 | 2% |
| $50,000–99,999 | $1,000 | 2% |
| $100,000–199,999 | $2,000 | 2% |
| $200,000–499,999 | $5,000 | 2.5% |
| from $500,000 | $10,000 | 2% |
We wrote the limits down as tiers with no overlaps. In the promo description on the site the number 1,000 appears in two neighboring rows at once, so do not count on a margin right at that border.
The main thing: almost 2% everywhere
Look at the third column and the main point shows. On every tier except the very first, the bonus is exactly 2% of the lower limit. That is the real "rate" of the promo. There is only one exception: the $200,000 tier gives 2.5%.
But the percentages are counted from the lower limit, and your turnover will hardly land exactly on it. Here is what happens if you stop at the end of a tier:
| Turnover | Bonus | Real percentage |
| $499 | $5 | 1.0% |
| $500 | $10 | 2.0% |
| $999 | $10 | 1.0% |
| $1,000 | $20 | 2.0% |
| $4,999 | $50 | 1.0% |
| $5,000 | $100 | 2.0% |
Going from 499 to 500 costs one dollar of turnover and adds $5 of bonus. Going from 4,999 to 5,000 also costs a dollar and adds $50. That is the "$1 for $5" we mentioned at the start. But there is a caveat: that dollar only works when you built the rest of the turnover without it anyway. The last dollar only decides which tier you stop on, it does not replace the four hundred ninety-nine before it.
What this means in practice
- Bet what you were going to anyway. The bonus returns about 2% of turnover. A bookmaker's margin is usually higher, so the bonus does not make bets profitable, it only softens losses.
- Look at the remainder before a threshold. If you are a couple of dollars short of a tier, this is the rare place where a small bet pays off in bonus.
- Do not chase turnover for a tier. To earn a $10 bonus you need $500 of turnover. If you bet on matches you would not have bet on just for that, you will lose more than you get.
- Do not forget the button. You have to claim the bonus yourself in the bonuses section, as a separate step after the turnover is reached.
The week's calendar: where to build turnover
This week's window opened on Sunday, October 18 and closes on Friday the 23rd. The bonus arrives on Saturday, October 24. The window includes:
- Tuesday, October 20: the opening of the NBA season. Boston plays at Detroit, Philadelphia at New York (LeBron James plays for Philadelphia for the first time, against the defending champion Knicks), and Oklahoma City at San Antonio, a rematch of the Western Conference Finals. Champions League matchday 3: Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona, Liverpool vs Villarreal, Manchester City vs AEK Athens.
- Wednesday, October 21: Bayern Munich vs Arsenal, Real Madrid vs Leipzig, Inter vs Shakhtar Donetsk.
- Friday, October 23: the start of the Swiss stage of Worlds in League of Legends, in Allen, Texas.
Which of these matches are in the line at the time of your bet, check on the site: ours are the Champions League line and the League of Legends line. The Sunday Formula 1 race in Austin on October 25 already belongs to the next window, which opens the same day.
We have breakdowns of other Coins.Game sports promos: the odds hunt at LoL Worlds and the 50% Champions League free bet, and a promo similar in spirit with no wagering in the article on Weekly Cashback.
