Hacksaw Partners with Aloha Gaming — a Young Developer of 3D Slots
Representatives of Hacksaw Gaming have announced the addition of an eleventh studio to their OpenRGS program. The new partner is Aloha Gaming — a studio focused on 3D slots and its unique BoosterBelt mechanic.
Aloha Gaming’s first title is called TikiTopia BoosterBelt. The core idea behind the new mechanic is that while symbols are landing on the main reels, something is also happening outside the game grid.
In this slot, a “Booster Belt” spins around the reels, featuring the main character — the Big’Um Tiki idol. Whenever a winning combination lands, the idol consumes one of the symbols from the belt, increasing the win multiplier for that specific symbol.
Hacksaw’s OpenRGS is a program through which the provider supplies its technical infrastructure (slot backend systems) to external studios, allowing them to develop and release their own games on top of Hacksaw’s platform.
Alongside Aloha Gaming, other studios already collaborating with Hacksaw through OpenRGS include Good Times Studios, Foxhound Games, Pineapple Play, Jinx Gaming, Kitsune Studios, and several others.
