Game of the Week Wanted Dead or a Wild: $25 for $1,000 Wagered
The Game of the Week mission pays $25 for $1,000 wagered on Wanted Dead or a Wild. We count spins, the 94.55% RTP, the real price of the reward and the bonuses.
The poster is short and to the point: "Wanted: $1,000 in turnover. Reward: $25." This is the Game of the Week on Coins.Game, and this week the slot on the wanted list is Wanted Dead or a Wild by Hacksaw Gaming. Less than three days are left on the mission, and the countdown is on the missions page. We opened the slot in demo, read the rules from the first line to the last and worked out how many spins you need and what the reward is really worth.
The wanted notice: mission rules
| What it is | "Game of the Week": one game is picked every week |
| Task | wager $1,000 in that game |
| Deadline | 7 days, with a timer shown on the bonus |
| Reward | a fixed $25 |
| This week's game | Wanted Dead or a Wild (Hacksaw Gaming) |
| Where to look | the "Missions" section of the site |
Turnover is the sum of all your bets, not winnings and not profit. Win or lose, the bet counts. The mission description does not name a minimum bet that counts, so check the bonus card to be safe.
The outlaw's ID card
| Provider | Hacksaw Gaming |
| Grid | 5x5, 15 paylines |
| RTP | 94.55% |
| Max win | 12,500x the bet |
| Bet | from 0.20 to 2,000 in your account currency |
| Bonus buy | yes, RTP when buying is 94.33% to 94.59% |
The numbers come from the rules inside the game in demo on Coins.Game. Remember one of them: RTP 94.55%. We will come back to it when we count the price of the reward.
Three bonuses of the Wild West
Duel at Dawn. Three duel symbols trigger 10 free spins. The special touch: a VS symbol expands to cover the whole reel and shows two outlaws with different multipliers. A duel is played, the winner's multiplier applies to the whole reel, and the reel turns wild. Multipliers range from 2x to 100x. If one VS lands on every reel and the screen is covered, the entire grid becomes a wild field.
Dead Man's Hand. Triggered by three dead man symbols and played in two phases. First comes the collection: you need to gather as many wild symbols and multipliers as possible. Every newly collected symbol resets the remaining spins counter to three, and the phase ends when three spins in a row have no win. Then the "final showdown" begins: every spin arrives with the collected wild symbols, and wins are multiplied by the accumulated total multiplier.
Great Train Robbery. Three train symbols give 10 free spins in which every wild that lands stays on the grid until the end of the bonus.
How many spins you need
| Bet | Spins to reach $1,000 turnover |
| $0.20 | 5,000 |
| $1 | 1,000 |
| $2 | 500 |
| $5 | 200 |
| $10 | 100 |
If one spin takes about three seconds, 1,000 spins at $1 is roughly 50 minutes of play. Whether what you stake in bonus rounds and when buying a bonus counts toward turnover is not clarified in the mission rules, so count only regular spins.
What the reward is really worth
Now the honest part. At an RTP of 94.55% the slot returns on average $945.50 for every thousand in turnover and keeps $54.50. The $25 reward covers less than half of that. The result: on average you lose about $29.50, you do not earn $25.
| Slot return on $1,000 turnover | $945.50 (94.55%) |
| Mission reward | $25 |
| Total with the reward | $970.50 (97.05%) |
| Average loss | $29.50 |
But there is a second side. If you were going to play this slot anyway, the reward lifts your effective return on this turnover from 94.55% to 97.05%. It is a discount on play, not free money. Remember the spread too: Hacksaw makes high-volatility slots, and a real session can differ a lot from the average, from a big win to losing the whole amount.
Who this slot is wanted by
- You already play westerns and Hacksaw slots. Then the mission simply adds $25 to what you were doing anyway.
- You like duels and multipliers. The bonuses here are vivid and the 12,500x cap is high.
- You want to "earn $25". Better to stop here: on average it is a loss. Do not sit down at a slot just for the reward.
Decide your budget in advance and do not chase turnover. If the money runs out before you reach a thousand, you can leave the mission unfinished. We have breakdowns of similar weekly tasks for the Aviator mission and the blackjack mission, and a slot whose rules we also read in demo is covered in the article on Hot Chili Heat.
By the way, there is a mini version too: Mid-week Feast. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays it has a new game, and $300 in turnover pays $10. But that is a story for another time.
