Aviamasters 2 Halloween vs Chicken Halloween: Fly or Shoot
Two Halloween releases from BGaming on Coins.Game: a plane catching multipliers and chickens with odds from 1.5% to 87%. We count the 96% RTP and the risk.
BGaming has two new Halloween fighters, and they step into the ring with different weapons. One lands a plane on an island of ghosts. The other shoots chickens and promises 64x with a 1.5% chance. Both games are already in the Coins.Game lobby, both have an RTP of 96%, and we opened both in demo, read the rules from the first line to the last and counted what usually hides behind the pretty picture.
The ring: two fighters
| Aviamasters 2: Halloween | Chicken Halloween | |
| Provider | BGaming | BGaming |
| The idea | the plane flies on its own, you catch multipliers | you shoot a chicken |
| Max win | 1000x the bet | 64x the bet |
| RTP | 96% | 96% |
| What you decide | the bet, the flight speed and buying a safe landing | which chicken to pick |
Neither game is a slot in the usual sense: there are no reels and no paylines. A round is decided by a single event, the plane landing or a hit on the chicken.
Aviamasters 2 Halloween: the plane and the ghosts
You place a bet and press "Play". The plane takes off, and the multiplier at the start of a round is always 1.0x. While it flies, it can catch four things:
- A ghost cuts the current multiplier in half;
- A number without an "x" is added to the multiplier;
- A number with an "x" multiplies the current multiplier;
- A booster helps during the flight.
If the plane falls into the water, the bet is lost. If it lands on the island by the castle, the round is won, and the final multiplier is applied to your bet. A simple example for understanding, the numbers are illustrative: start at 1.0x, catch the number 2 and it becomes 3.0x, catch an x5 multiplier and it becomes 15x, then a ghost swoops in and you are left with 7.5x. You land on the island and take a bet 7.5 times bigger.
There are four boosters:
| Booster | What it does |
| Nitro | the plane flies straight ahead and ignores all ghosts in its way |
| Lifebuoy | gives a second life after touching the water |
| Magnet | pulls in nearby multipliers and helps the plane land if it passes near an island |
| Laser cannon | destroys all ghosts in the plane's way |
A separate story is Water Ski. It is a paid extra feature that guarantees a safe landing with the multiplier you have collected. You can switch it on only at the start of a round with the "Safe landing" button. The rules do not say how much it costs. The RTP with this feature is also 96%. The four buttons on the screen with a turtle, a man, a hare and a lightning bolt change the flight speed.
Chicken Halloween: chickens and odds
The game honestly shows its odds, and that is its main trick. There are chickens on the field, and each has its own multiplier. You shoot at a chosen chicken or press "Play" and shoot at a random one. If it bursts, you win, if not, you lose the bet. If you hover over a chicken, a hint shows the chance of winning.
| Multiplier | Chance | On average one win per |
| 1.1x | 87.27% | 1.15 shots |
| 1.5x | 64% | 1.56 shots |
| 2x | 48% | 2.08 shots |
| 4x | 24% | 4.17 shots |
| 8x | 12% | 8.33 shots |
| 16x | 6% | 16.7 shots |
| 32x | 3% | 33.3 shots |
| 64x | 1.5% | 66.7 shots |
Now the curious part. Multiply the chance by the multiplier in any row: 1.1 x 87.27% = 0.96, 2 x 48% = 0.96, 64 x 1.5% = 0.96. Every row comes out at exactly 96%. This means every chicken has the same RTP, and choosing a chicken is choosing not the value but the tempo. The 1.1x chicken pays almost every shot and barely grows the bank, the 64x chicken stays silent for long stretches and then pays a lot at once.
Here is what that choice means if you shoot ten times in a row:
| Chicken | Chance to miss 10 times in a row |
| 2x | 0.14% |
| 4x | 6.4% |
| 8x | 27.9% |
| 16x | 53.9% |
| 32x | 73.7% |
| 64x | 85.9% |
On the 64x chicken, in more than eight cases out of ten you win nothing at all in ten shots. That is the honest price of the 64x ceiling, and it is exactly why cautious players will prefer chickens with a smaller multiplier.
What they share: 96% and no secrets
Both games have an RTP of 96%. On average that is $4 of losses per hundred wagered, on any chicken and with any flight. The difference is temperament. In Chicken Halloween you choose how fast to go toward the 64x ceiling. In Aviamasters 2 Halloween the ceiling is higher, 1000x, but the flight decides rather than your choice: what the plane catches on its way is determined by the game.
Which to pick
- You want to control the risk. Chicken Halloween: you pick a chicken by its chance and see the numbers right away.
- You want the show and a high ceiling. Aviamasters 2 Halloween: a plane, ghosts, boosters and a shot at 1000x. If you do not want to risk the bet at the start of a round, there is a safe landing.
- You are not sure. Open the demo of both games. The balance in demo is virtual, and the rules and the odds table can be read right in the game.
